Hello, my name is Jim Stewart. I 'm a 74 year old craftsman that just loves making pens.
I started making pens about 12 years ago and I strive to make the best pens and things that I am capable off.
I graduated from Murphy high in Atlanta Ga. then went into the navy Seebees for 10 years, then Delta Air lines where I was a mechanic. I later bought a large ranch in South Carolina and raised cattle and Arabians horses for about 30 years. Yea, I punched a few cows.
I have always loved making thing of wood. I first made large grandfather clocks. They were fun and beautiful but too expensive. I discovered pen making about 12 years ago and bought a lot of stuff and still don't have it all ; it seems.
My mother was the greatest artist ever, she did Ceramics for about 50 years . She could paint, wall paper, lay rocks, build cabinets, fix anything etc. (I thought she was the greatest) I guess thats where I got my talent and love for beautiful things. My poor ol' dad couldn't hit his behind with both hands. I know I make some of the most unusual pens in the business. I've been featured in the Rockdale News here in Conyers and considered in the craft circuit as one of the best. (blowing my horn) but I know I'm good

I forgot to mention; I also make herbal soap. I make a soap called "Ivy B Gone" that cures Poison Ivy overnight. It has "Jewel weed" in it. Look that up on the internet Jewelweed . It's like a miracle cure. really works
